Here’s the reality:
The simplest questions can spark the biggest changes. In 1998, the British rowing team was struggling—constantly finishing 7th in competitions. Then, they started asking themselves one game-changing question: "Will it make the boat go faster?" Every decision, every action was measured against this question and it led them to Olympic gold.
Now, translate this to making money online, self mastery and building our businesses, every process you put in place—ask yourself, "Will it make the boat go faster?" In business terms, will it make your customers happier, your workflow smoother, or your sales higher? This approach keeps you aligned with your core goals, just like it did for the British rowing team.
Countless times, I have been tempted to return to the 9-to-5 grind. It’s easier and OMG is it less stressful. But I know as soon as I’d sign my life away, I will be the most depressed person on the planet because it wasn’t going to get me to my definition of success. I have to stay focused on the path — Sharing my skills and knowledge with others like me on their Mission. Each one, Teach one.
You can apply this in your journey too. Maybe you’re juggling a bunch of tasks—ask yourself, “Is this making me money?” or “Would my parents be proud of how I’m spending my time?” These questions will help you cut through the noise and focus on what truly matters.
Here are some decision questions to keep you on track:

3. Is this moving me closer to my Definition of Success?
4. Will this improve my skills?
5. Is this adding value to my business?
6. Does this align with my long-term vision?
Here are the 6 things for me that make the boat go faster:

The next time you’re faced with a decision, big or small, ask yourself if it will make my boat go faster. If the answer’s no, Next.
