Next Move. Best Move.

The Power of the "Next" Mentality

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

8TH JUNE 2024 - SWAG Daily

Here's the reality..

..of something that’s worked wonders for me both in business and in my life personally. This will boost your confidence immediately should you choose to adopt and apply it today. The skills I've picked up through business have helped me navigate life too. Concept is simple: Some will, Some won't. Next.

Some people will like you, some won't…Next!
Some will buy your product, some people won't. No problem…Next!
You just keep going through the process of sifting through the good, the bad and the ugly.

Recently when I was single, I would ask Women, “Would you like to go on a date with me? No! No problem. Next”. Asking local businesses “Would you like to do Business together? No! No worries. Next”.
Here’s the thing, there are so many businesses out there just waiting to find you. There are so many customers out there, waiting to meet you.
There a plenty of beautiful fish in the ocean (if you’re single)
Always remember: Some will, Some won't. Next!

As Entrepreneurs, we are putting ourselves out there every single day. We're pitching ideas, selling products and reaching out to potential customers and prospects. Having Rhino skin is a must because rejection is part of the game. The key is to not be attached to the outcome. Shake off the No’s and keep moving forward no matter what.

This actually reminds me of an Interview I had with the one and only, Rick Hart, a West Australian Business icon. Rick's journey is a perfect example of the “Next" mentality in action.

Rick started his retail journey back in 1975, influenced by his parents who owned a general store. But it was a tip from a friend that sparked his first big move. His friend, an insurance broker, mentioned a container of damaged refrigerators up for auction. Rick saw an opportunity, submitted a tender and secured the fridges to sell for extra weekend income.

This move paid off and from 1979 to 2004, Rick scaled up his operation into the multi-million dollar Rick Hart Group, specialising in kitchen appliances. He faced countless rejections and setbacks along the way but he didn't let that stop him. Every time a door closed, he kept his chin up and moved on to the next opportunity.

Rick's business grew so big it had to be either acquired or publicly listed. In 2005, he sold to Clive Peeters for $10.5 million but stayed on as executive director until 2009. Even when the Rick Hart Group stores were eventually closed or converted by Harvey Norman, Rick's legacy as a savvy entrepreneur remained.

The lesson here is clear: don't let rejection stop you. Embrace it, learn from it and keep moving forward. Some will, some won't. Next. This mindset will not only help you in business but also in your personal life. Rejection is just part of the process. Keep your confidence high, stay positive and always think, "Next."
