Success comes to those who are brave enough to take action and have a crack. Too often, we let fear and doubt hold us back. But the truth is, taking that first step is the most important part of any journey. It’s all about having the courage to try, to give it a go and to learn from the experience.

Let me introduce you to someone who embodies this spirit perfectly. Our SWAG of the Week, Hollie Pickersgill is a shining example of what happens when you take action. Hollie is just eight years old, but she's already making waves with her bracelet business. Inspired by TikTok, she decided to have a crack at creating and selling her own designs. She didn’t just sit back. She turned her inspiration into a business creation.

Hollie’s story is remarkable. She has over two hundred followers on her Facebook business page and is making sales, all because she took the initiative to start something she thought looked cool and now loves. When we asked her Mum what Hollie wants to be when she grows up, the answer was clear: she dreams of working for Sephora and wants to be a Jewellery maker. Hollie’s passion and ambition are driving her forward and she’s not waiting for the perfect moment – she’s creating her own moments right now and earning her Definition of Success.

Think about it – there are adults out there, 18, 28, even 38 years old, who haven't yet dared to start something new. But Hollie, at just eight, has the courage to dive in and start her own business. It's a lesson for all of us: Don’t wait. Have a crack at your dreams, no matter how young or old you are.

How did you get started?

I saw a bracelet making video on TikTok and wanted to give it a go.

What do you like to do outside of school?

I like Skincare, i like like to play and love bracelets

What do you want to be when you’re older?

A Sephora person and Jewellery maker.

What’s your message to an 8 year old girl like yourself wanting to start off?

I hope you have a good time making bracelets and I want to let you know you’ll get through it just fine. I wish all the good luck.
